Ethernet LAN Switches

Our AGENT-2 System Series comprise a variety of Lines of advanced Ethernet LAN switches whose structural design make them especially suitable to reliably operate in different environments – Power Utilities, Railways, Industrial … –, depending on the necessities of every particular case. AGENT-2 products provide also a high L2 switching performance, including functionalities like QoS with priority queues, Recovery time < 15 ms, High security, RSTP/MSTP (also STP compatible), GVRP, etc.

Products

Depending on the different levels of environmental and communications requirements satisfied by our AGENT-2 advanced switches, these can be classified into i) IEC 61850/IEEE 1613-compliant; ii) Hardened; and iii) Industrial.

IEC 61850/IEEE 1613

The following Lines of high-performance products are specially designed for highly harsh environments such as those in electrical substations, and meet and exceed the environmental and communications requirements in standards IEC 61850/IEEE 1613 for equipment in Power Utilities; EN 50121-4 for Railways applications; and IEC 61000-6-2 for Industrial systems.

Hardened

The high-performance products included in the following Lines are especially designed to operate in rugged environments, and comply with the environmental requirements in standards NEMA TS1 & TS2 for Traffic control equipment; and IEC61000-6-2 for Industrial.
